What Parents Say

“It’s all new, clean and the staff are amazing. There are places closer to home, but I travel because it’s the best place to take my baby for swimming.”

— Sharee Hutchinson

“The first lesson my daughter Sophie clung to the teacher like a baby koala but after a reasonably short time and a lot of encouragement she is now very confident. And of course her younger sister thought it looked like so much fun she wanted to start lessons too.”

— Brooke Moriarty

“My 3 children have just started their swimming lessons and are loving it. My daughter wouldn’t enter the water without a tight grip on me and is now in the water with the instructors putting her face in. My boys are excelling as well. The service is always warm and welcoming.”

— Jardey Daniel

Frequently Asked Questions

Babies learn to swim through sensory exploration and repetition of gentle movements with a parent in the water. JUMP! lessons use songs, games, and play to teach breath control, floating, and basic water safety reflexes in a warm, nurturing environment.
During the first lesson, the focus is on water familiarisation and building comfort — not advanced skills. Our instructors use gentle techniques and songs to help your baby feel safe and happy in the water. Parents are in the pool throughout every session.
Bring a reusable or disposable swim nappy, a large towel, and a change of clothes for both you and your baby. A snack and drink for after class is also a great idea to help your baby settle after their lesson.
Familiarise your baby with water at bath time by gently pouring water over their shoulders and encouraging them to splash. Pack all your gear the night before, and arrive a few minutes early so your baby can get used to the sights and sounds of the centre.
The essentials are a swim nappy, a towel, and a calm, encouraging parent in the water alongside them. JUMP! provides all teaching aids and equipment during sessions — no floaties or special gear required.
